LaShonte Alexander-Mortimer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Puzzle Peace, a charitable nonprofit dedicated to supporting caregivers, families, and children navigating autism and special needs through community-based resources, advocacy, and structured support systems.
With a professional background in healthcare administration and business operations within the federal health system, LaShonte brings experience in strategic planning, budgeting, organizational leadership, and program development. Her career has centered on improving systems, supporting people, and building solutions that create measurable impact.
Inspired by personal lived experience as a caregiver and advocate, LaShonte founded The Puzzle Peace to address caregiver burnout, isolation, and gaps in practical family support. Her vision is to build a trusted organization that empowers families, strengthens communities, and expands access to meaningful resources.

Adishia Willis serves as a key executive leader of The Puzzle Peace, overseeing operational strategy, community engagement, and organizational growth. With more than 20 years of professional experience in corporate operations, client relations, and design management, she brings proven leadership, structure, and execution excellence.
Her strengths in project coordination, systems management, and relationship building help drive the organization’s mission forward. Adishia is committed to creating meaningful support pathways for families navigating autism and special needs while strengthening community partnerships and sustainable impact.

Meshawn Jean Louis serves as Treasurer and Director of Finance & Strategy for The Puzzle Peace. With a professional background in banking and financial services, including eight years in the private banking sector, along with current experience in the federal government, she brings expertise in financial management, fiscal accountability, strategic planning, and operational support.
Her experience in both private and public sectors strengthens the organization’s ability to manage resources responsibly, build sustainable growth strategies, and maintain strong financial stewardship in support of its mission.
As the sister of Founder LaShonte Alexander-Mortimer, Meshawn shares a personal commitment to supporting families navigating autism and special needs while helping guide the organization’s long-term financial vision.
